We
offer an excellent atmosphere for family vacations. There is great moose, bear and grouse
hunting and fishing for northern
pike, walleye, bass, and perch. Argyle Lake Lodge is truly a remote wilderness
location that is set in the James Bay Frontier Bush.
We are the only tourist camp on a
series of four lakes that is miles from our nearest neighbors.
Explore infinite hiking and canoeing possibilities or just relax on
our natural sandy beach.
Access to hundreds of miles of ATV trails that loop back to the
lodge for great riding adventures.
You can also explore an old abandoned gold mine in the area.
At Argyle Lake Lodge we have fully equipped housekeeping cottages
with modern appliances, hot and cold water, showers and electric lights.
Cooking utensils, dishes, mattress covers and pillows are supplied.
Guests are responsible for bringing their own bed linens (blankets,
sheets, pillowcases, sleeping bags), towels (paper towels, napkins), soap
and toiletries (toilet paper). Boat
and motor rentals and canoe rentals are available.
Live bait, gas, oil, fishing and hunting licenses can all be
